In a high-level courtesy visit that signals growing institutional momentum for sustainable infrastructure and climate investment in Africa, Ibrahim Muhammad Illo of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) met with the AICIS 2025 planning leadership on 30 July 2025 at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The discussion zeroed in on final preparations for AICIS 2025 and deepening NUPRC’s participation in the landmark summit.
The planning committee, led by Hon. Moses O. T. Owharo, Chairman, received Mr. Illo in a session underscoring strategic alignment between Nigeria’s energy governance and continental climate-investment priorities. Also in attendance was Dr. Bassy, Senior Adviser to the Permanent Secretary on Political and Economic Affairs at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), demonstrating high-level cross-sector support for AICIS 2025.
